We are excited to honor Roy and Julia Weinstein with the Maury and Lisa Friedman Visionary Award for their years of dedicated service on behalf of children with visual impairment. Roy and Julia are members of the Friends of ELIYA-USA Board of Directors. Roy is a Past-President of University Synagogue. He is the founder of Micronomics, LLC, an economic research and consulting firm located in Los Angeles, California. He has been engaged in economic research and consulting since 1969. His areas of expertise include antitrust economics, regulatory economics, banking and securities fraud, intellectual property matters, economic valuation and certain types of accounting and cost allocation questions. Julia currently serves as President of University Synagogue's Sisterhood and is involved with the Westside Guild of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and the Wellesley College Alumnae Club of Los Angeles.
