We are excited to honor Roy and Julia Weinstein with the Maury and Lisa Friedman Visionary Award for their years of dedicated service on behalf of children with visual impairment. Roy and Julia are long time members of the Friends of ELIYA-USA Board of Directors. Roy is a Past-President of University Synagogue. He is the founder of Micronomics, Inc., an economic research and consulting firm located in Los Angeles, California. He has been engaged in economic research and consulting since 1969. Julia currently serves as President of University Synagogue Sisterhood and is a member of the Westside Guild of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and the Wellesley College Alumnae Club of Los Angeles.  Roy and Julia were instrumental in University Synagogue’s recent renovation and the new library that bears their name.
